I a U.S. citizen. My wife just got her visa in USA. how hard is it to have its aunt came to stay with us for a month or so. he only needs a tourist visa but what paper you work? Can I petition for this or would my wife need?
because what he needs is a tourist visa, nobody needs to petition for it. what you can do is provide a letter explaining why you want him to come over like it that he will take care of a newborn baby or something well as the letter explained that he will stay with you all the time (include your address) and explain that you are responsible for his expenses. If you are in the Philippines today, you can also accompany him to interview. any other supporting documents are usually strengthens the argument that he is back and illegal stay in the U.S. will help. things like if he was a lot of money in the bank, own a home in the Philippines, have a good paying job in the Philippines, etc. all these things are give the impression that he has every reason to return to the Philippines
