Fil-Am will move to the Philippines and the life of a farmer-Coconuter?
Has anyone read or seen http://coconuter.blogspot.com youtube video coconuter? I'm interested in your opinion about it. Actually a 18-year-old fil-am leaves the U.S. to live in a difficult, but simple life in the province. 1. I can I see why he was "bored" in the U.S. and prefers to live the rough life, but the roughness is very extreme. Most of you reading this probably does not endured if what he is (and this is by choice) At first glance, his blog seems to be about the journey, until you read stories like "Champorado" or "A dry rainy season "where she shares life with no electricity or gas, because he could not pay the bills. 2. The addition of a girlfriend and baby stuff changed drastically. He has no visible means of support right now. His family is in the U.S. and it seems like he did not try to ask them for help. 3. Majority balikbayans to strive to live the good life, while young people who chose life difficult. 4. He was still there and frequent updates on his blog.
Well, he is a popular and have a look. He had his own people, deciding to live life the way he wants. Just like some people want to become Peace Corps volunteers. Or some would join the leftists and live in the wilderness. Everyone is fascinated by something. He just chose to live in a fantasy.
