It okey if I use my Sat scores instead of taking the UPCAT?
I got a 1860 on my Sun's (first time taking it) and I'm planning to apply for a BS in Biology at the University of the Philippines Los Banos. I know that up requires at least a 1200 critical reading and writing sections, and I have a 1260. This is a good alternative to taking the UPCAT? And if this is not the case, the UPCAT more difficult than Sun's? I I meant that the 1260 in my critical reading and math combined. I believe that UP's demand Sun combined score of at least 1,200.
To I think the rule is if you can do the UPCAT, then you should do it. The Sun was only for international students. I am not sure about it even. Just ask the school about it. The English section of the UPCAT is easier than the Sun while the Math section of the Sun is easier than the UPCAT Math. Science poverty depends on how good you really are in the subject.
