Where it is safe for women alone without travel to Western countries?
I traveled to Western Europe by myself and quickly Australia, Canada and USA & it is fine but what about in Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines), Cuba, Panama, Costa Rica as I've heard conflicting with things – guidebooks say it is safe and recommend the destination but other sources such as websites advice for women traveling, say the country unsafe for women to travel alone & only countries I safe ones. ? Also for me in my late 30's means it is probably safer guys the problem of women in their teens & twenties? Maybe older women wearing a fake wedding ring is viewed by others? Something tells me people are not answering travelers ….. maybe newspaper readers what paranoid they are reading …..
You will not find many women who travel alone to Yahoo Answers. Some of your Responders will not read your paragraph, it appears, like "The Wall" talked about Mexico where you do not ask about, "Lee" said Eastern Europe is ok, you do not ask about, etc. There are countries that women can travel alone to do not like, because the right of countries will grow dominant. I would include the most – the country you asked about that category. When I traveled with my wife, I think there is a government agency that posted what countries are recommended to avoid the reasons for safety. You checked the agency? They may also be where you are most likely for a woman to be able to travel safely alone.
